FIFA World Cup trophy arrives in United States ahead of 2014 tournament in Brazil | SIDELINE
The World Cup trophy is on American soil this week, making the rounds as part of its eight-month-long pre-tournament tour.
With
this summer's World Cup just 57 days from kickoff, the trophy is on its
last leg of a tour which has already seen it visit Africa, Asia, Europe
and South America.
On Monday,
US Vice President Joe Biden and US Secretary of State John Kerry took
their turn seeing World Cup trophy at an event in Washington. They were
also joined by US Soccer legends Cobi Jones and Julie Foudy.

The trophy will remain Stateside for the rest of this week, making stops in the following cities on the following days:
Miami: Tuesday and Wednesday
Atlanta: Thursday
Los Angeles: Saturday and Sunday
If
you live in one of the above cities and have the opportunity to get out
and see the World Cup trophy this week, you should do so. It might be
your last chance to see it before Clint Dempsey and Jurgen Klinsmann
lift it on July 13.
