JOBS Communications System Design/Engineering Tech

The selected candidate will support a a broad range of C4ISR design efforts. Will be tasked with defining user requirements, conducting equipment research, testing and evaluating new products, development of design documents including block diagrams, equipment lists, interface cables, cable routing, rack elevations, antenna mounting, and development of design concepts and technical products in Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Duties will also include the development of test procedures and technical writings for use in Operator and Maintenance manuals. Occasional travel (CONUS and OCONUS) will be required to attend design meetings, conduct site surveys, or assist with system delivery. This position is located in Chesapeake, VA. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Chesapeake, VA or surrounding areas.
